European Frump
What inspired you to start your vintage shop/boutique?
My love of unique finds has driven my passion for selling antiques and vintage items. I love finding items that are stunning and useful for today’s times.
How long have you been in business, and how has your shop evolved over time?
I’ve been selling since 2015, but I’ve going to flea markets, yard sales, and thrift store since I was a small girl. Enjoying the thrill of the hunt since I can remember.
What types of vintage items do you carry?
I love European items with beautiful original patinas. Accessories that look amazing in layers and one-of-a-kind statement pieces that stand alone. I don’t shy away from large pieces of history. You can find a little bit of everything in my showroom.
How do you source your vintage pieces? Do you have a favorite story behind a special find?
I travel here, there, and everywhere. Domestically and abroad to find the most breathtaking items that I can find. I ask for details of every item I find. Hopefully a great story encompasses each item.
Are there any rare or unique items currently in your collection?
We always have rare and one-of-a-kind pieces to share with the public. Finding unique pieces is my drug.
Do you offer any special services, such as styling assistance or custom restorations?
We always have rare and one-of-a-kind pieces to share with the public. Finding unique pieces is my drug.
Can shoppers purchase items online, or is everything sold in-store?
Right now are items are only in our showroom, but we can help with shipping items everywhere. Website in the works and coming soon.
Do you host events, workshops, or pop-ups?
European Frump is a bi-monthly market. Opening once every six weeks for a one day shopping experience in my 5,400 square foot showroom. Appointments to the trade and bulk buying in between shows.
