What inspired you to start your vintage shop/boutique?

I love decorating and gardening and wanted to find treasures at a great price for others.

How long have you been in business, and how has your shop evolved over time?

I started hosting my own backyard shabby chic flea market since 2006 the first Sat of May prior to social media . I have been truly blessed with lots of great customers who have become friends . I have always held true to my love for sweet pinks , fluffy pillows , true shabby chic items, and all sweet things for your home and garden.

What types of vintage items do you carry?

Small pieces of furniture, lots of shabby chic linens and pillows , sweet treasures for your home and garden .

How do you source your vintage pieces? Do you have a favorite story behind a special find?

Over the years I have made many friends who know my style well and help me as buyers .

Are there any rare or unique items currently in your collection?

The true Rachel Ashwell linen is getting harder to find so blessed to still be able to offer it.

Do you offer any special services, such as styling assistance or custom restorations?

I offer to host a small event in my backyard grown ups tea parties , bridal and baby showers . I set up for you with all my linen and China lovely pieces . It’s a magical place filled with over 100 rose plants to create a true romantic cottage feel .

Can shoppers purchase items online, or is everything sold in-store?

Through my Instagram / facebook or coming to my annual backyard flea market first Saturday of May.

Do you host events, workshops, or pop-ups?

Yes once a year I host a flea market in my backyard first Saturday of May Ventura CA . Also my backyard is available to host sweet small parties , bridal and baby showers .

Any fun or memorable experiences with customers you’d like to share?

Meeting Rachel Ashwell and doing a collaboration with her will always be my biggest highlight and memorable experience.
